AMENITIES UPDATE

THE COMMUNITY POOL WILL BE OPENED ON MAY 3, 2024, AND WILL CLOSE ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2024

IMPORTANT NOTICE (WHEN THE POOL IS OPEN FOR USE):

Please remember that The Estates Board of Directors decided to purchase identification badges with ID numbers for entry to the pool area. All of The Estates homeowners must display the badge when using the pool area. Anyone not having or displaying their badge will be asked to leave the pool area. If you are new to the community or if you have lost your pool badge, please contact Elysia Bonner at 404-835-9255. Replacement badges are $100.

While official restrictions are no longer a hurdle to the pool opening, we all still need to be smart and safe. The Association is not liable for any diseases you, your family, or your guests may be exposed to in any of the common areas owned by the Association.  As always, use the pool at your own risk, but for everyone’s safety, please read below and adhere to these precautions:

Homeowners and guests must abide by all pool rules. Failure to do so will result in pool privileges being revoked.

Tennis Courts, Basketball Court, and Playground are open and are subject to State and County Covid-19 social distancing guidelines.  With that being said, this comes with great caution to you and your family as you use these areas.  We will have signs posted (note below) in each area that warn anyone who comes to use the amenities, that they are using them at their own risk. We will not be cleaning or sanitizing these areas.  We ask that you would help us out with this.  Please remember that social distancing is still in play here.  Keep 6 ft. away and limit the amount of people in one area at any given time.

Thank you for your patience as we navigate these difficult times.

The signs will read as follows:

24-HOUR SURVEILLANCE – Effective July 2019 our amenity areas will have 24-Hour video surveillance. Hopefully, this change will help protect our common areas from vandalism that we experienced this summer.

VANDALISM AT OUR POOL AREA –  Last summer there were two incidences of vandalism at the pool. In the first incidence, chairs and umbrellas were thrown in the pool and toilet paper was thrown into the trees. In the second incident, there was extensive damage. In addition to chairs and umbrellas, tables, and garbage cans (with garbage) were thrown into the pool. The cement umbrella base was carried to the men’s restroom and used to puncture holes in the sheetrock, and then thrown in the sink. The Paulding County Sheriff’s office is investigating, but there were no witnesses and the vandals have not been caught.NOTICE OF MEETING:
