DESCRIPTION:The annual Taste of Acworth returns to downtown Acworth on Saturday\, October 17\, 2026. With over 40 restaurant booths\, attendees can sample delectable dishes from local restaurants\, all affordably priced between $1 and $10. \nEntertainment \nIn addition to the impressive lineup of culinary treats\, Taste of Acworth offers plenty of entertainment options. Two live stages will host performances from local talent throughout the day. Children can stay busy enjoying inflatables\, a quad bungee attraction\, and numerous games in the interactive Kid’s Zone. Adults looking to relax can visit the Beer Garden\, featuring refreshments perfect for pairing with the wide variety of foods. \nGeorgia Grown Member Village \nThose interested in local produce and Georgia goods can explore the Georgia Grown Member Village\, highlighting vendors with products sourced and made in Georgia. It’s a great spot to discover unique items while supporting local businesses. \nContest Categories \nRestaurants at Taste of Acworth will compete in five exciting categories: \n\nBest Entrée\nBest Dessert\nBest Food Presentation\nBest Decorated Tent\nBest Appetizer\n\nWinners will receive their awards at approximately 3:30 pm. \nAnnual Dog Show \nDog owners and fans shouldn’t miss the Taste of Acworth Dog Show\, beginning at 11:30 am in the historic downtown district. Categories include: \n\nShortest/Longest Tail\nBiggest/Smallest Dog\nSmallest/Biggest Ears\nBest Dressed\nHandler Look-Alike\nBest Talent or Trick\n\nAll proceeds from dog show entry fees benefit local animal organizations including Lakecity Animal Hospital\, Georgia Rescue – Road Trip Home\, and the Humane Society of Cobb County. SUMMARY:Halloween JamBOOree
DESCRIPTION:The Acworth Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the annual Acworth JamBOOree (formerly the Halloween Carnival) at Logan Farm Park on the large field in front of the playground. The event takes place from 3 pm to 7 pm and features carnival games and food and drinks for sale as well as a free hayride and costume contest. \nThere will be carnival games of all different skill levels for children along with inflatables.   Carnival game tickets can be purchased for a fee and tickets can be purchased throughout the event. \n \nVendors will be on site selling food and drinks\, so bring the whole family and plan on spending a “spook” tacular afternoon at Logan Farm Park. \nDate:\nSaturday\, October 24\, 2026 \nTime:\n3 pm to 7 pm \nAddress:\nLogan Farm Park\n4405 Cherokee St.\nAcworth\, GA 30101 \nParking can be found at Logan Farm Park (both the Administrative Office and Main Entrances)\, Roberts School\, Rosenwald School\, and the corner of Cherokee Street and Northside Drive.  There will be signage directing you up the trail to the event. \nFor more information\, please call the Acworth Parks and Recreation Department at (770) 917-1234.
